Dreams of some olive trees
This exhibition is an attempt to understand life from another perspective:
from the viewpoint of the olive trees of this region.
For me, olive trees are not merely plants. They are beings of great wisdom. They have endured centuries, wars, droughts, and generations of humans. They do not experience time as haste, but as depth. Within their twisted trunks they store memory, patience, and resilience.
Since antiquity, the olive branch has been a symbol of peace. Not as a sign of victory, but as a gesture of understanding. This meaning accompanies my work just as strongly as the landscape in which it was created.
In Greek and Roman mythology, we encounter the figures of Athena (Minerva) and Poseidon (Neptune). Traditionally, their encounter is interpreted as a rivalry or a conflict.
I have consciously chosen a different interpretation. In my work, Athena and Poseidon do not stand opposed as enemies, but recognize one another as complementary forces.
The sea — water — and the earth are not rival elements, but inseparable parts of our planet. Life can only emerge where they meet and respect one another. In this narrative, the olive trees become silent witnesses and mediators. They root themselves deeply in the earth, looking for water, while carrying the light of the sky within their fruits.
They teach a form of wisdom that does not divide, but connects. “Dreams of some olive trees is an invitation to pause and to understand the world not as a place of constant conflict, but like a framework based on understanding, balance,
and mutual respect.
Sueños de unos olivos
In dieser Serie zeige ich Ihnen einige der letzten Exponate meiner Ausstellung in Riogordo zum Thema "Träume einiger Olivenbäume".
Der Olivenbaum ist Teil alter Mythologien, die ich in den Bildern verarbeite. Der Olivenbaum als lebendes - immer wieder überlebendes - Sein, manchmal uralt, Symbol für Frieden, Harmonie und Weisheit, spendet Schatten, Holz, Früchte und Öl. Athene - neuinterpretiert als weise Frau, die Leben schenkt.
In this series, I show you some of the last exhibits from my exhibition in Riogordo on the theme of ‘Dreams of Some Olive Trees’.
The olive tree is part of ancient mythology, which I incorporate into my paintings. The olive tree as a living being – always surviving – sometimes ancient, a symbol of peace, harmony and wisdom, providing shade, wood, fruit and oil. Athena – reinterpreted as a wise woman who gives life.
En esta serie les muestro unas últimas obras expuestas en mi exposición en Riogordo sobre el tema «Sueños de unos olivos».
El olivo forma parte de antiguas mitologías que plasmo en mis cuadros. El olivo como ser vivo —que siempre sobrevive—, a veces milenario, símbolo de paz, armonía y sabiduría, proporciona sombra, madera, frutos y aceite. Atenea, reinterpretada como una mujer sabia que da vida.

In the video I show some installations of my work in different spaces. All digital works are limited editions, 3 bigger formates, as wanted also unique pieces. Each work can be realized in different sizes, materials and framings. You can send me a foto of your room/wall and we can start a digital simulation of my works in your home.
En este video muestro unas installaciones de mis obras en salas diferentes. Todos trabajos digitales tienen una edición limitada, 3 formatos grandes y si quieras tambien como pieza unica.
